Music Workshops for young people this Summer Holiday
There is something for everyone and every ability offered at various venues in Essex
Here are some of the highlights:-
Film Orchestra Experience
We offer three levels of orchestra:
- All-in Film Orchestra (beginners up to Grade 1)
- Junior Film Orchestra (Grade 1 – 3)
- EYPO Film Orchestra (Grade 4 – 8). Includes music by from Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean and more.
The course ends with a showcase of all three groups for family and friends!
Pop Singing, DJ and Rock Band Workshops
Take part in a day of expert tuition in Basildon, Harlow, Witham or Colchester. Choose either:
- Pop Singing including microphone technique and harmonisation led by Randolph Matthews https://www.randolphmatthews.co.uk/
- DJ-ing with Shy Cookie https://soundcloud.com/shy-cookie
- Playing as part of a Band – rehearsing covers and developing your own material
Discover Music workshops
A great opportunity for your young person to experience a range of musical activities and find out what they enjoy most! These taster workshops may include some singing, drumming, music games, learning an instrument. Sessions for KS1 and KS2 available in multiple locations across Essex.
What are the prices?
Costs range from £6 – £150 depending on the course length with discounts available to anyone registered with our Financial Assistance package for those children from low-income families, disadvantaged backgrounds and Looked After Children.
Band sessions in Clacton (8 August) and Harwich (11 and 18 August) are offered free of charge.
