Curriculum Enhancement workshops

Djembe drum line

Enhancing existing music curriculum and offer cross-curricular opportunities by bringing students together through music

We offer an exciting variety of one-day workshops for engaging pupils in both vocal and instrumental music-making. As well as being thoroughly enjoyable they can enhance existing music curriculum and offer cross-curricular opportunities.

Our provision includes:

  • Sing-It! — Tailored for beginners or more able singers, we provide an inspiring day-long workshop, culminating in a short concert to parents and carers.
  • Drum-It! — A day’s workshop with one of our specialist tutors, including the instruments covering either West African Djembe, Indian Dhol and Dholak, Samba or Aboriginal
    Didgeridoo.
  • Create-It! — A workshop that results in an original song being written for your whole school, by your students! By the end of the day your school will have a recording of its own unique song that you can use on your website and at events.
  • Rap-It! — Tailored to your school’s need, Rap-It! introduces students to the world of rap, hip-hop, grime and spoken word. These sessions are a perfect way to develop confidence in students, enhance and link to music and other curricula, especially English and literacy.
