Working as a Head of Music or music teacher in a secondary school can sometimes be quite a lonely existence with a wide range of demands and expectations on your time and your ability to teach a range of genres and instruments.

To support all secondary school colleagues, Essex Music Education Hub run secondary network meetings across Essex to provide a forum for discussion around curriculum design, GCSE and A level delivery, assessment, liaising with primary colleagues and much more beside.

It is also an opportunity to be made aware of, and discuss national changes in education, current trends and find out about opportunities and projects that might support the work already been done in school.

If that was not enough, Essex Music Education Hub also provide funding for each network of schools to decide how to spend to support collaboration between schools and supporting the development of in-school provision.

Keep an eye on the Music Hub Website for meeting dates near you!
