Drake Music is the leading national charity working with music & technology to open up access to music-making for disabled people, from workshops with schoolchildren through to commissions for professional musicians. They are innovators, educators, curators and advocates who believe everyone has the right to express themselves creatively through music. Drake Music use new technologies and ideas to open up access to music for all. Their vision is a world where disabled and non-disabled musicians work together as equals. Schools can choose from a range of Learning and Participation offers from Drake Music, including whole class accessible music workshops, one-to-one music lessons with a DM tutor, accessible singing projects, artistic residencies and progression routes such as Sounds of Intent, Arts Awards or Drake Music’s accredited Compose and Perform KS4 course. Drake Music also offers training and consultancy work with music education hubs and schools.
