Following on from our recent online meeting on 22nd April, we are excited to be planning the next Essex Music Hub’s Primary Music Teachers Network event.

During these meetings, research, resources and projects are shared that can be utilised in classrooms and colleagues round the county discuss how music is made in schools.  We will also share some quick ideas that can be taken away and use the next day in your classrooms.

Subsequent meetings will be planned for each half term and will cover topics related to all aspects of music in primary schools.

If you have any ideas for future sessions, would like to share an idea or have a question you would like us to address please contact sarah.goldsmith@essex.gov.uk and we look forward to seeing you virtually soon.

The next meeting for Essex Primary School Music Teachers

At our next network meeting, taking place on Tuesday 15th June, we will be joined by two primary teaching colleagues to share how they have developed singing and listening in their schools and the impact it has had on their pupils.

We will also take a glance at Sing Up to glimpse the wealth of material in the programme to get your school singing across the day and the curriculum.

There will be space in the session to explore any inspiration or challenges that have come your way and we will fill you in of any developments we have heard about in music education.

Look forward to seeing you there!

This course is available for Primary School Teachers in Essex Schools only.

This meeting takes place online via Microsoft Teams – link will be sent on 11th June 2021
