Aged 15 Lottie Anstee joined the Essex Music Service’s flagship ensemble, the Essex Youth Orchestra, and became its Principal Flautist aged 16. In 2018, Lottie successfully auditioned for the prestigious National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain – the world’s greatest orchestra of teenagers.
Lottie is in Year 13 at Colchester’s County High School for Girls and is currently studying A Levels in Music, Psychology, Chemistry and Physics. Aged 6 she began her music education and learnt the Recorder. At 8 years old she moved to the Flute and by 13 had achieved distinction at Grade 8. Lottie has recently gained a Distinction in her ABRSM Performance Diploma while studying at the Royal Academy of Music Junior School.
